Alberta Amusement Parks

In general, a guest of a typical Alberta amusement park must wear a shirt and shoes for as long as he or she is in the premises of the park. An exception to the rule includes some sections of waterparks.

Here are more particular decorum expectations:

Dealing with the attendants of amusement parks

The jobs of the amusement park attendants are not as easy as they look. These attendants do not get much of a break, particularly on a very busy day. Make sure to follow the instructions and guidelines provided by the attendant. Saying "thank you" to the attendant after a ride is not mandatory but such an act is very well appreciated.

There are areas where one could put in his or her things for storage, while some amusement parks have lockers. When you opt to use any of the two, the management of the parks would not be responsible for losses.

Lines in amusement parks

Many amusement parks would not permit line jumping, or holding a position for somebody else. An ordinary penalty would be a warning or being placed at the back of the queue. Take note though that if the line-jumper is so arrogant and irritating, security could be called in. This line-jumper would then be "forced out" of the park minus any refunds.

Smoking in amusement parks

Many parks are now prohibiting smoking while in queues. When you are in a secluded area though and are allowed to smoke there, get rid of the butts properly. It's so easy to dispose of them in the trash bins.
