Maritimes Hunting Trips

Maritimes hunting trips are available in all the three Maritime provinces of eastern Canada.

Over at Prince Edward Island, bird and game Maritimes hunting trips are available. The hunting season for migratory birds starts in October, on its first Monday. This is around the time flocks of birds arrive, on cue to the changing season. Maritimes hunting trips end in December, on its second Saturday.

When hunting for Ruffed Grouse, season starts on the last Monday of September, up until December. Hunting for Grey Partridge or Hungarian Partridge lasts only for three weeks, from October to November.

New Brunswick boasts of a 100,000 population of white-tailed dear. Moose is at 25,000 while black bears are at 16,000. There are three seasons to hunt for bears – a permit is good for the three seasons. A hunter is allowed to kill one bear per year.
